Our Children's agency Tarquin Talent Agency is run by Tarquin Shaw-Young (F.E.A.A.) with over 20 years experience working with casting directors and stage schools. The agency is responsible for looking after our children at the Don Rae Academy who have successfully auditioned for representation. The students all have their photo shoot with our professional photographer Mark Davis.
Once registered the children get invited to castings and auditions for professional work. Credits include commercials for 'Western Union', 'BBC One' and 'IKEA', corporate films for 'Autism UK' and stage shows such as 'Ripper Street'. Our children have recently auditioned for theatre productions 'To Kill a Mockingbird', 'Thriller Live', 'The Woman in Black' and 'The Wizard of Oz', commercials for 'Disney Channel', 'ASDA' and 'Burger King'. In 2009 our students were invited to sing alongside Mr. Ray at the Battersea Arts Centre. In 2022, Sam Stephens played ‘Young Simba’ in the Lion King in the West End and Stanley Mould got the part in ‘Peter Grimes’ at the English national Opera in 2023!

Details
There are only a small number of students on our books as we are not looking for children who all look the same. It is important for our children to be highly confident as they will be representing the academy when attending the castings. It is also paramount that parents can be flexible in bringing their children to the auditions. There is an annual fee to register which covers representation in the Spotlight directory. There is a separate fee for the photo shoot/audition
